だるま天国・歩行者天国 「神明市」三原で開幕
Walkers Paradise in Mihara Town, with a BIG DARUMA
For three days of the duration of the New Year Celebrations and Market the road from the station to the Shrine will be a paradise for shoppers.
“だるま市”として親しまれている「三原神明（しんめい）市」が８日、３日間の日程で三原市のＪＲ三原駅周辺を会場に始まった。やぐらの上にはシンボルの巨大だるま（高さ約４メートル、重さ約１８０キロ）がお目見え。駅北側の市道約２キロが歩行者天国となり、家族連れらでにぎわった。
沿道には約４００の露店が並び、地元で手作りされた細長い「三原だるま」、太いひげとまゆ毛がりりしい「玉島だるま」（倉敷市）、鶴のまゆに亀のひげを持つ「高崎だるま」（群馬県）などがずらり。
